Pastor Richard's reflection
In verses 38-39 God says through St Paul
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 

In this reading we are encouraged to see that:
  • God is always for us, has our interests at hearts and always loves us
  • the troubles we experience in life are not because God has deserted us
  • God is loving us even amongst the troubles we face

Today we begin the book of Romans Read Romans 1:1-7 As you read consider -  What stood out for you in this reading? What is God saying about what He has done, is doing or will do? Day 2: Romans 1:8-17

Pastor Richard's reflection In verses 8-17 God says through St Paul For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
